When I was thinking of means I could comprise more Christmas decor into my home without it feeling overwhelming I came upwards with the thought to create a Charlie Brownish Christmas tree. This elementary DIY offers a fun culling to the traditional tree while still allowing yous to display your favorite ornaments.

DIY Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

I created my Charlie Brown Christmas tree with plain one-time branches that had fallen in our woods. You can use whatever you take access to, including birch branches (which would be so pretty) or evergreens! Our woods are providing lots of fun DIYs this season. Stride 1

Assemble 2-three sturdy sticks or branches. Wait for branches that accept multiple "arms" of varying lengths. This will give you more variety for hanging your ornaments.

Step 2

Find two sturdy containers. I large container, like this x gallon crock, should take sturdy sides. Y'all can also use a sturdy basket, wood box, or sturdy tree collar.

The 2d container must fit inside of the larger container. I used a metallic bullpen that I had on hand. Yous could use anything that has some weight to information technology. This container will be completely covered then don't worry what information technology looks like.

Starting time, place the small container inside of the larger container. Next, identify your branches inside the minor container. Constrict old towels around the branches to give them stability. Step 3

Fill the gap between the small container and the big container. I used an old pillow and bathroom towels. This cements the small container in place so that it doesn't movement and go off center when yous hang your ornaments on your Charlie Brownish Christmas tree.

Make certain you really pack information technology tight! Your branches could potentially get heavy and you don't want your tree to topple. Don't worry if you can't get everything packed below the rim. You will be roofing your filler.

Pace 4

Top your filler with greens. I used greenish moss I found on clearance. This gives more than of an appearance that this is a "tree" rather than simply branches. I'll too be adding some winter greens to brand it more festive.
